My name is Steven Paul Miner Jr I am the third child from my parents who raised me in Southern California. In my youth I shadowed my older brothers from skateboarding to drawing comic book characters however ultimately my passion was drawn to the hip hop world where I had a passion for rapping and hip hop dancing. In the 90s my gift to draw would have me gravitate and study great comic book artist such as Todd McFarland, Jim Lee, Rob Liefeld and many more greats with Travis Charest ultimately Being my favorite. Still not sure of myself whether drawing comics was my Lane in life thinking that it belonged to my oldest brother to do, I continue to pursue hip-hop however being a shy young man during a time where hip hop still was not fully accepted and looked down upon I never really excelled in the art as much as I wanted to. Fast forward to 2013 thru all my ups and downs and experiences in my life from living in a gang invested city to joining a religious cult and then having to find myself learning how to survive on my own as a grown man I decided to utilize my gift to draw and create to channel my life experiences as my means to reach others going thru the same struggles in hopes to uplift them out of there situation placing mine and others with like minds stories behind characters such as “MOON reflection of the sun” who stands up for women to fight against the negative stereotypes of worldly behavior. Books like “FATHER” who shows what it means to be a man and how to handle responsibilities. “WHO STOLE HIPHOP” where the detective comes out of us. These creations represent US because in real life we are the true super heroes! So come take this journey with me and watch your inner hero come to life.
