Kirk began creating and publishing comics in the 4th grade when he would draw on pages of loose leaf paper, fold them, staple them and share the comics with his friends. This life long passion lead him later in life to become a student at the School of Visual Art in Manhattan, New York where he had the rare privilege of learning sequential art from comics legend, Will Eisner.
